DURAQUARZ® – the new, clean ceramic coating
Totally new non-stick coating made from quartz ceramic and PEK for even higher temperatures. Very robust with long-lasting non-stick properties. DURAQUARZ® was developed at acs, is patented and is only produced at acs. DURAQUARZ® is applied in multiple layers completely without solvents and contains no critical ingredients. It offers temperature resistance up to 450°C – a temperature no pan ever reaches – developed for “HIFFICENCY – The world’s fastest pan®”.
This patented acs coating is unique:

DURAPEK® with lotus effect
acs HIFFICIENCY® products such as the multi-purpose baking plate, grill plate, GN container and baking sheet are equipped with the DURAPEK® high-performance coating – with unique non-stick properties.
DURAPEK® is an innovative non-stick coating made from the high-performance plastic PEK, which is usually used in the aerospace industry. The production process is totally different to that used for the more common PTFE, Teflon and ceramic coatings – and much healthier. It contains no solvents or resins that outgas in the oven and can be harmful to health.
DURAPEK® – for anything that goes in the oven
The DURAPEK® coating was developed at acs, is patented and is only available from acs. The material is five times more expensive than PTFE/Teflon and is laboriously applied in four layers at large plants. At 70 μm, it is twice as thick as the common Teflon coatings, making it much more robust!
